Scholarship Description Additional Information Helen McLoraine Student Teaching Scholarship This scholarship is available to CPS Education Undergraduate Student Teachers. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship This foundation provides scholarships worth up to $30,000 per year to community college students & recent alumni to help them earn a 4-year degree. Scholarship applicants must be nominated by the Foundation's Faculty Representative at their two-year institution. Federal TEACH Grant The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides up to $4,000 per year ($16,000 total for 4-year programs) in grants for students who commit to teach: ■ Full-time ■ In high-need subject areas ■ For at least four years ■ At schools that serve low-income families Graduate students may be eligible for $4,000 per year ($8,000 total) with this same commitment to teach.
