ACG Denver’s Intern Exchange provides a unique opportunity for businesses and non-profits to mentor and cultivate the next generation of business leaders, and is designed to help participating companies recruit and attract exceptional individuals to a broad spectrum of opportunities. Students who participate in an internship in the business community are provided mentorship, professional experiences and formal training that will help them further their educational and professional goals and interests. The Intern Exchange is a service provided by ACG Denver, and is open and free of charge to all members of the business and academic communities

The Intern Exchange is an online information clearinghouse for paid and unpaid internships for undergraduates (junior and senior-level), as well as graduate students and recently graduated students looking to connect with the local/regional business community. Students submit their resume for posting on the site, which we have categorized by various business functionalities, allowing businesses to preview their backgrounds. Participating businesses may submit one (or many) intern opportunities which are posted to the site for students to view under the same categorized system.

The mission of Intern America is “Building America’s future by connecting the next generation of leaders with today’s employers”. It is not a staffing or placement company. It is a partnership for interns and employers and our goal is to help people identify their individual purpose, passion and path, then connect them with the RIGHT employer offering the RIGHT opportunity. We offer 3 and 6 month internships which translate into an educational and work experience for the interns and an opportunity for employers to experience short term talent and allow them to identify potential future hires. This is not just about “making a placement” but rather opening a door for future success.

The unemployment rate continues to rise in the US and employers struggle to sustain and grow their businesses. Former President Bill Clinton has said “the future is not only an opportunity, it is an obligation”. We are all responsible and Intern America is committed to the future of America.
