This opportunity is offered monthly (3rd Thursday of each month) to students, faculty, alumni and community members who wish to receive feedback on or discuss their writing, whatever type it might be. Those individuals not presenting become the audience for those who are. Each meeting begins with a social networking opportunity (6-6:30), followed by four slots for written work by different individuals (25 minutes each to be used as desired) and two pitch slots (15 minutes each). Writings of all types are encouraged, including research, business, fiction, non-fiction, etc. To RSVP and/or to request a workshop or pitch slot*, please contact Blenda Crawford at email@example.com. Slots are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. *Writing workshop: 25 minutes for the writer to read/present written narrative that needs workshopped and to engage the audience in the type of discussion interaction desired. *Pitch: 15 minutes to present a pitch intended for a targeted audience and receive feedback; or to ask the audience for specific information that the writer is seeking, i.e. where can you get help on graduate level writing, how did you find an agent, what vendor are you using for your website, how did you put your writing group together, how are you using social media, etc. Be a part of this emerging and ongoing Regis community.
