Degree Overview
Available both online and on-campus, our undergraduate licensure-only program offers a number of options for license/endorsement in Colorado and Wyoming. Our Teacher Education program is nationally approved through the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC).
Undergraduate Licensure Only Program Overview
- The number of credit hours needed to earn a license/endorsement depends on:
- A student's current degree
- The specific required prerequisite courses in a content area
- The age group to be taught
- The type of license/endorsement
- The number of credit hours awarded for previous learning experiences
- A minimum of 30-credit hours must be taken with Regis University
- Paraprofessionals are offered a 10% preferred tuition discount for all education courses at Regis University's College for Professional Studies. Contact an enrollment counselor for details.
- Once accepted into a licensure only program, a student is assigned a faculty advisor. The advisor determines a student's individual needs and establishes the required licensure coursework.
Note: Students seeking licensure only in a secondary (grades 7-12) area must enter the program with a completed bachelor's degree in the respective area (i.e. if the student is seeking licensure only in math, the student's undergraduate degree must be in math).
Total Degree Requirements: A minimum of 30 credit hours
