The online bachelor's degree programs from Regis University College for Professional Studies were recognized by SuperScholar in its inaugural Smart Choice ranking of the 25 Best Online Colleges and Universities of 2012. Program Accreditations

Three School of Computer & Information Sciences degrees – the B.S. in Computer Information Systems, the B.S. in Computer Networking, and the B.S. in Computer Science (CPS) – are specially accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.

The Masters of Arts in Counseling Program is nationally accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP) and is also approved by the International Registry of Counselor Education programs (IRCEP).

Regis University's Education Program is accredited and state-approved in Colorado, Wyoming and Nevada. Our undergraduate and graduate licensure programs (initial endorsement only) are and nationally approved through the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC).

The School of Education and Counseling Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy degree program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE)

Distance Learning Accreditation

Regis University has an annual enrollment of approximately 16,000 students and more than 40 percent of them earn their degree online through our accredited distance learning programs. In fact, our online MBA program and Computer & Information Sciences programs rank among the largest distance-learning enrollments in the nation for their degree types.

University Accreditation is a process by which the services and operations of participating universities are examined by a third-party accrediting agency to determine if applicable standards are met. Should the university meet the accrediting agency's standards, the school receives accredited status.
