Family Matters Family Weekend 2014 is Sept. 25 - 28. The Regis University Student Government Association, Office of Student Activities, and the Office of Alumni Engagement have a weekend full of great activities planned for you and your family. We know it seems like only yesterday you were dropping off your student at college and unloading boxes and luggage galore. Well, now it is time to return to Regis for a weekend full of fun. During the weekend students, their parents and siblings will not only reconnect but will participate in an array of activities on-and-off-campus. The fun kicks off with Thursday Thrills, a regular and very popular event on campus, featuring mentalist Craig Karges. On Friday, you can sit in on a class with your student and enjoy lunch together. You're also invited to cheer on our women's soccer team as they take on Colorado School of Mines. Along with the game, we'll have a full tailgate party with food, drinks and prizes. All parents, siblings, extended family members and students are welcome. Go Rangers! Don't forget to bring the whole family to Casino Night on Saturday. Try your hand at table games and enjoy music, food, a cash bar and great prizes. Proceeds from this popular event will help fund clean water and sanitation projects in Nicaragua through El Porveni, a RegisCorps leadership program partner. On Sunday, you won't want to miss breakfast with the Provost: Dr. Patricia Ladewig. A delicious on-campus breakfast will be served, followed by a brief talk by Provost: Dr. Patricia Ladewig. Mass will follow in the St. John Franci Regis Chapel. After Mass, head on over to support the Regis soccer teams. These are just a sampling of the activities rounding out the fun and memorable weekend we have planned for you. We hope to see you at one or all of the events!
