Who We Are

Career Services provides students and alumni with the resources and skills needed to set career goals, develop resumes, practice interviews, and learn the latest hiring trends. We offer career resources and work with students and alumni one-on-one to help them begin their dream career.

Career Services is dedicated to empowering students and alumni to make informed career decisions and develop the skills necessary to establish and pursue career goals that will lead to career fulfillment and success. We also serve as the link to our students and alumni for career resources in the business, nonprofit and government communities.

Our Staff

Richard DelliVeneri, Director 
Richard DelliVeneri joined the staff of Career Services in May 2004 as a career counselor and has provided career development services to students and alumni from all three of Regis University’s colleges. He has also served as an affiliate faculty member of the Division of Business in Regis College. Richard came to Regis University from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he provided career development services to students and alumni for more than two years. His work in career development follows a career of more than 25 years as a lawyer at major banking institutions, the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Thrift Supervision, and the Colorado Attorney General's Office. 

Richard received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA. He also earned a Post-Master's Certificate in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University.

Shelle McLean, Senior Career Counselor
Shelle McLean joined Career Services in 2007 after over 20 years’ experience in career development, personal counseling, and higher education instruction. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Adams State University and certifications as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.

Brent Vogel, Senior Career Counselor
Brent Vogel joined Regis University in 2009 from Buffalo, NY, where he received a Master’s Degree from Canisius College in College Student Personnel Administration. Brent has worked at several institutions for various Student Life departments, including Residence Life at Regis University, the Career Development Center at Hilbert College in Buffalo, NY, Residence Life for Canisius College, and the Office of Athletics, Academic & Student Development Services at the University at Buffalo. At every position, Brent has gained experience working closely with college students to develop and prepare them for campus life and beyond.

Maggie Chapman, Career Counselor
Maggie Chapman joined Regis University Career Services as a career counselor in August 2011 from Manhattan, KS. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling and College Student Development from Kansas State University and has worked in Career Services, the Academic Career Information Center, New Student Services, and the Education Department, all at K-State. Maggie thoroughly enjoys having the opportunity to employ her experience in career and student development to promote the success of Regis students and alumni.

Amy Veenstra, Career Counselor
Amy Veenstra joined Regis University Career Services as a career counselor in May 2012 from Grand Rapids, MI, where she received her Master’s Degree in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University. For the past three years, she’s worked in career services and academic advising at several institutions in the Midwest, including Calvin College, Grand Valley State University, Indiana University South Bend, and Hope College. She enjoys the entire career development process and helping students connect with opportunities and resources.

Karen Adducci, Employer Relations Developer
Karen Adducci joined the staff of Regis University Career Services as the Employer Relations Developer in January 2006. Karen has been employed at Regis for over 10 years and has been involved in a variety of activities on campus, including the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Regis and completed her Master’s Degree in Management and Organizational Leadership in May 2006.

Career Services is located in the Coors Life Directions Center, adjacent to Entrance One on the Denver North (Lowell) campus.

Hours

8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
Closed from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. All Regis students and alumni are served by appointment (in-person or by phone) and during open hours (Wednesdays, 12:30-1:30 p.m. and Thursdays, 4:30-6:00 p.m. Call 303.458.3508 or book an appointment online.

 

Appointments are also available at the Lowell campus or by telephone.
