PY 469: Lifespan Development
Analyzes human developmental stages through cognitive, learning, humanistic and psychoanalytical theories of development.
Discover the ways in which complex human behaviors and emotions play a part in nearly every aspect of daily life. Through the lens of applied psychology, you’ll discover ways to improve communication, enhance human wellbeing and understand how to help people cope and thrive in the modern world.
Classes cover a wide array of topics, including lifespan development, abnormal behavior, positive psychology, stress and wellbeing, health psychology and forgiveness. With a B.S. in Applied Psychology, you’ll be well-equipped to pursue further study as a graduate student or embark on a career as a counselor, behavioral analyst, social worker or another valuable professional role.
Students transferring fewer than 45 credit hours will receive additional support via our Cornerstone Learning Community to help lay the groundwork for their academic success. Classes are offered online or on campus and are designed to fit around your busy schedule.
