Student and faculty are proud to be participants in the following professional organizations and honor societies. Regis Student Nurses’ Association (RSNA) Pre-licensure students at Regis University operate an association affiliated with the Colorado Student Nurses’ Association under the guidance of elected student officers and an LHSON faculty advisor. Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) is the international honor society for the profession of nursing. STTI was founded in 1922 by six nursing students at the Indiana University Training School for Nurses (now Indiana University School of Nursing). The Loretto Heights School of Nursing in partnership with the University of Colorado Denver, College of Nursing form the Alpha Kappa Chapter-at-Large of Sigma Theta Tau. Students who qualify for membership are invited to apply for membership as they near completion of their program. Faculty in the LHSON are available to support students in their application process. The faculty advisor for STTI is available for assistance in this process. Alpha Sigma Nu Alpha Sigma Nu is the national honor society for Jesuit colleges and universities. Founded in 1915 at Marquette University, Alpha Sigma Nu recognizes outstanding women and men who have attained a high degree of excellence in their fields and demonstrate scholarship and academic achievement, “leadership in service to others,” and loyalty to the Jesuit educational tradition. Students who qualify for membership are invited to apply as they near completion of their program. LHSON Faculty are available to support students in their application process. Alpha Sigma Nu faculty advisor are available for assistance in this process also.
