Now you can earn a certificate in health care quality and patient safety. Responding to growing industry demand to improve patient safety, Regis University has teamed with several leading health organizations to create a Post-Bachelor’s Certificate in Quality and Patient Safety. This online certificate program in health care provides students a base of quality improvement theory, the tools to measure statistical change and the leadership to implement patient safety/performance improvement initiatives. Thus, improving the quality of health care received from senior management to daily beside care.
The health care certificate program includes 12 credit hours at the graduate level and can be taken in conjunction with the Master’s in Health Service Administration or as a standalone certificate. One or two pre-requisite courses may be required depending on the student’s prior professional and/or academic background.
Degree: Graduates are awarded a Certificate in Quality and Patient Safety.
Online Option: Flexible format allows you to log in anytime, day or night as you complete weekly assignments. Each class lasts eight weeks allowing you to progress quickly. No campus visits are required for online students.
Start Dates: Spring (January), Summer (May), Fall (August)
