Perceive the problem. Think about solutions. Choose to get involved. Act in the community.
As a student, you have the chance to make a difference in your community as part of the next generation of caregivers. Being educated comes with a responsibility to have an awareness of the world around you and to use your knowledge, skills and talents to make the world a better place.
Service learning provides hands-on experience through community-based learning and offers you the opportunity to apply what you are learning in the classroom. You will gain insight into the responsibility that each one of us has in caring and advocating for others who find themselves in challenging or vulnerable circumstances.
