Family and Legacy Weekend 2015 is October 1 – October 4.

The Regis University Student Government Association, Office of Student Activities, Regis Athletics and the Office of Alumni Engagement have a weekend full of great activities planned for you and your family. We know it seems like only yesterday you were dropping off your student at college and unloading boxes and luggage galore. Well, now it is time to return to Regis for a weekend full of fun. During the weekend students, their parents and siblings will not only reconnect but will participate in an array of activities on-and-off-campus.

The fun kicks off with Thursday Thrills, a regular and very popular late night event on campus, featuring mentalist Craig Karges.

On Friday, October 2nd there are no classes – so you’ll have the opportunity to join us for one of several excursions into Denver and greater Colorado. There will be a Zipline Tour, a trip to Estes Park (Rocky Mountain National Park turns 100), and an excursion to the Denver First Friday Santa Fe Art Walk, among others. You're also invited to cheer on our women's volleyball team for a home match against Western State in the Regis Field House. All parents, siblings, extended family members and students are welcome. Go Rangers!

Saturday they’ll be plenty to do as well. We’re kicking off the day with our first Donut Run (inspired by the infamous Krispy Kreme Challenge). Then there’s a service opportunity with the Fr. Woody’s program, a club sports match, free BBQ, and a volleyball game against CSU-Pueblo. Cap your day off by bringing the whole family to Casino Night on Saturday and support our student athletes and their programs. Try your hand at table games and enjoy music, food, a cash bar and win great prizes.

On Sunday, we’ll start the day with a 9am Mass followed by brunch with Regis University President Fr. John Fitzgibbons. (You can do Mass, you can do brunch or you can do them both.) A delicious on-campus breakfast will be served, followed by a brief talk Fr. Fitz. After brunch head on over to the match pitch and catch a Regis soccer match.

These are just a sampling of the activities rounding out the fun and memorable weekend we have planned for you. More information is coming – including on-line registration - and be expecting a flyer in your mailbox in July. We hope to see you at one or all of the events! If you have any pressing questions please give the Office of Student Activities a call at 303-458-3505 or drop us an email at!
