Admission Requirements

  • Complete the Regis College Application or The Common Application. Regis University accepts the Common Application in lieu of its own form and gives equal consideration to both.

    Regis Application Information
    Common Application Information
  • Applicants should request that official high school transcripts be forwarded to the Regis College Office of Admissions. (Transcripts must be official and may not be stamped Student Copy.)
  • High school seniors should have their official ACT and/or SAT test results forwarded to the Regis College Office of Admissions from their high school or testing agency. (ACT code: 0526; SAT code: 4656.)
  • Applicants are required to include a personal statement or essay with their application. This will allow the admissions committee to get to know you better.
  • Applicants are strongly encouraged to schedule a visit to campus to attend an information interview with an admissions counselor and go on a campus tour. In some cases students will be required to attend an admissions interview. Once accepted into Regis College, the admissions office asks you to confirm your plans for enrollment with a nonrefundable tuition deposit of $150 and room reservation deposit of $150. Admissions deposits should be received by the Regis College Office of Admissions by May 1.

Admissions Evaluation

Applications for incoming freshmen are reviewed on the basis of high school record, ACT or SAT scores, activities, personal essay and a counselor or teacher recommendation.

Regis will evaluate the SAT based on the 1600 possible points from the critical reading and mathematics sections; Regis will not be using the writing sections in either the SAT or ACT.

Deadlines

Regis has a rolling admissions policy, but early submission of all application materials is encouraged. Most applications are received between November and February of senior year, and students will be notified of a decision within four to six weeks of submitting their applications. The priority application deadline for incoming freshmen is April 1.

Scholarship and financial aid (FASFA) priority deadline for maximum consideration of institutional dollars: March 1.

AP, IB & College Credit

Regis awards credit for College Board Advanced Placement (AP), College Level Examination Program (CLEP), Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), and International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. In addition, Regis will evaluate course work completed at a college or university on an individual basis.

Find out if you can receive credit for previous course work (AP, IB & college credit).
