Studying French at Regis

Minor in the language of diverse cultures, literatures and histories of Francophone countries and regions. This degree seeks to advance proficiency in all linguistic skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing combined with the development of multicultural awareness through the analysis of literary and non-literary texts.

Degree Overview

The French minor consists of 12 upper division semester hours in which all grades earned must be “C-” or better and with an overall GPA of 2.000. Departments and programs may specify courses required for the minor. Courses that are not specified for a minor are selected in consultation withthe major advisor. The minor area should lend support to the development of the major and the ultimate objective of the student.
