National Science Foundation
According to data by the National Science Foundation (WebCASPAR database), in the United States there are 1,400 institutions offering bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and more than 400 institutions offering master’s degrees in Computer Science. Throughout the last 10 years Regis University consistently ranked in the top 10 percent institutions for the number of bachelor’s and master’s degrees awarded in Computer Science.
 
ABET Accreditation
The Schools’ undergraduate programs in Computer Science (CPS), Computer Information Systems and Computer Networking are ABET accredited. ABET is the recognized accreditor for college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering and technology. Among the most respected accreditation organizations in the United States, ABET accredits over 3,100 programs at more than 600 colleges and universities worldwide.

CNSS Center of Academic Excellence
In 2007, the school received the coveted National Center of Excellence in Information Assurance as certified by the National Security Agency.
 
Combined Bachelor and Master
The School offers a combined bachelor of science and a master of science program enabling students to be admitted to the M.S. program during the junior year of their B.S. program, and to work thereafter toward both the B.S. CIS/CS/CN and selected M.S. SE/ST/ITM/DT/IA program by completing 152 credit hours. The combined degree allows six credit hours of Computer and Information Science department courses at the 600 level to be counted both toward the undergraduate degree requirements and to the requirements for the M.S. degree.

National Defense University
Regis University is an academic partner of National Defense University’s Information Resource Management College (iCollege) in Washington, D.C. This graduate-level program builds leaders who direct the information component of national power by leveraging information technology for strategic advantage. Regis is one of 34 National Defense University academic partners offering completion of graduate degrees after receiving a certificate from the Information Resource Management College in Washington, D.C.
 
National University of Ireland (NUI) Galway Joint Degree Program
This innovative joint degree combining curriculum and faculty from a European university with Regis programs emphasizes global perspectives of software and information systems development.
