To be fully admitted into the College for Professional Studies' MBA program, students without a business undergraduate degree must demonstrate the foundational knowledge required to successfully complete the MBA curriculum. Foundational areas include accounting and finance.
Students without a business undergraduate degree have two options to meet the finance and accounting prerequisites:
- Successfully take three undergraduate courses through Regis University’s College for Professional Studies, earning a grade of C- or better:
- AC 320A Principles of Accounting I
- AC 320B Principles of Accounting II
- FIN 400 Business Finance
- Take and pass the accounting and finance sections from the MBA Foundation Suite.
The MBA Foundation Suite is non-credit self-study (rather than an instructor-led course) and costs around $300. The Suite models or required prerequisite courses must be completed prior to enrolling in MBA courses. For more information and to sign up, click here.
