The Learning Commons Team

Michael Ennis, Director, Writing Center and Tutoring Services
Michael earned his doctorate in Comparative Literature from Duke University and has worked at Duke University, Elon University, and the University of Colorado-Boulder. He has taught writing and humanities courses on Latin American literature and culture, utopian literature, HBO’s The Wire, and Pirates.  His research interests include Aztec and Maya writing systems and composition pedagogy.

Ameeta Scott, Coordinator, Writing Center
Ameeta joined Regis University as writing center coordinator in September, 2013. Writing tutoring and public relations comprise the core of her professional career. She thrives on diversity, exchange of thought, and all things writing-center related. She is a firm believer in the role writing centers can play in the academic journey of student-writers.
