Parking Permits for (North Denver (Lowell) Campus) All students, faculty and staff with and without disabilities are required to register their vehicles and display parking permits if they choose to park on campus. Vehicle registration is required for obtaining a parking permit. It is free and can be done at the Campus Safety Office (Room 219) in the Student Center. To register a vehicle and receive a parking permit, students, faculty and staff must have a valid driver's license, vehicle registration and a current Regis ID. All student vehicles must be registered within the first 2 weeks of a new semester. Vehicles brought onto campus after that time must be registered within 72 hours or be subject to a fine. Vehicles may not be registered unless the student completes financial clearance. Accessible Parking In compliance with the ADA, Regis University provides accessible parking in all parking lots at the Lowell campus and all satellite campuses. Accessible Parking Rules To use accessible parking, all drivers must show a State of Colorado accessible parking permit or they will be ticketed in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Office of Campus Safety or the City and County of Denver. Drivers who park in accessible parking without a permit are also subject to a $75 fine. Registration, graduation and/or transcript holds may be placed against persons who have not paid their parking fines. Temporary Physical Disability Parking Students, staff and faculty experiencing a temporary physical disability that affects their mobility (e.g. broken leg, need for crutches or wheelchair) are required to obtain a physical disability permit from the State of Colorado to park in accessible parking. Bus Information The Regional Transportation District (RTD) offers public transportation and trip planners for the Denver-metro area. In addition to visiting their website, you can phone RTD at 303.299.6000. An RTD information kiosk is located on the first floor of the Student Center just outside of Walker's Pub. You may also find printed bus schedules in the Library on Lowell Campus. For those needing transportation to the North Denver (Lowell) campus, RTD Route 52 has stops along Regis Boulevard on the south side of campus. Bus Passes Regis University offers RTD bus passes to traditional undergraduate students for free during the academic school year (no passes are offered during the summer).
