Student Disability Services Mission
Student Disability Services at Regis University is responsible for assisting students with documented disabilities at Regis College (RC), the College for Professional Studies (CPS), and the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions (RHCHP),with reasonable and appropriate accommodations.
SDS will provide services to students only after:
- Students provide SDS with current documentation demonstrating a currently disabling condition that interferes with one or more life functions as defined by the ADA
- Students ask for services to assist them in accomplishing their educational goals while attending Regis University
- Students request all disability related services through SDS, Life Directions Center, 303-458-4941
- Students request accommodations each term
SDS will help:
- Educate students about their rights and responsibilities with respect to their disabilities
- Educate the campus community through the use of brochures, in-service workshops, and other consultations in order to create an inclusive educational environment
- Allow students the right to choose when or whether to access SDS services
