Regis Rising Strategic Planning Process

Dear Regis Community,

I am pleased to announce the launch of Regis University’s Strategic Planning initiative “Regis Rising,” and this corresponding website that will enable our community to participate in essential conversations and remain informed about key developments in the process. Over the coming year, we will engage in a series of listening sessions and discussions to determine our University priorities for the next 10 years.

  • Phase I: Conduct internal sessions on important trends and best practices in American higher education as well as important issues facing Regis University. The schedule of meetings can be accessed on this website under Calendar. Please note, especially, upcoming open meetings for faculty and staff.
  • Phase II: Develop draft strategic priorities together.
  • Phase III: Engage external constituencies, such as alumni, friends, community leaders, major employers and prospective donors – all of whom can provide valuable feedback on our ideas.
  • Phase IV: Return to our internal community to continue shaping our priorities for final presentation to our Board of Trustees in January 2014.

We hope that these planning conversations can lead to new directions for Regis in the coming 10 years, as well as exciting goals for our next comprehensive fundraising campaign. With our rich history of Jesuit education and service, along with our strong resource of talented faculty, staff, students and alumni, I believe we can meet the challenges of the coming years with imagination and renewed commitment to our mission. This world-affirming faith and openness to new opportunities have always been hallmarks of Jesuit education, and I invite your participation in this process as we work to move Regis forward.

Please take a moment to view this strategic planning website and familiarize yourselves with the resources and information available.

I look forward to working with you on this exciting project.

John P. Fitzgibbons, S.J.
President
